1. About WreckPay

WreckPay is a Melbourne-based vehicle buying and car removal service.

We may consider cars, utes, vans, SUVs, 4WDs, trucks, commercial vehicles and other suitable vehicles in a range of conditions, including used, unwanted, damaged, accident-affected, scrap, unregistered and non-running vehicles.

2. Vehicle Enquiries and Quotes

You may request a vehicle quote by providing information through our website, by telephone, email or another communication method we make available.

A quote may be based on information including:

• Vehicle make and model
• Year of manufacture
• Vehicle condition
• Registration status
• Vehicle kilometres or mileage
• Mechanical condition
• Accident or body damage
• Missing parts or components
• Pickup location
• Photos or other information provided by you

You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3. Quotes Are Subject to Vehicle Information

A quote may be provided using the information available at the time of the enquiry.

If the vehicle condition, identity, ownership, registration status, location or other material details differ from the information originally provided, the quote may need to be reviewed before the transaction is completed.

Where appropriate, we may request additional information or inspect the vehicle before confirming a final purchase amount.

4. No Obligation to Accept a Quote

Requesting a quote does not require you to sell your vehicle to WreckPay.

Unless otherwise agreed, you may choose whether to accept or decline an offer.

WreckPay may also decide not to proceed with the purchase of a vehicle where the information provided, ownership position, vehicle condition, location, safety considerations or other circumstances make the transaction unsuitable.

5. Vehicle Ownership and Authority to Sell

By offering a vehicle for sale, you confirm that you are legally entitled to sell the vehicle or have authority from the lawful owner to arrange the sale.

You must tell us about any known finance, security interest, ownership dispute or other restriction that may affect the sale or transfer of the vehicle.

We may request reasonable evidence of identity, ownership or authority before completing a transaction.

6. Vehicle Details and Disclosure

You should disclose known information that may materially affect the assessment of the vehicle, including significant mechanical problems, accident damage, missing parts, fire or flood damage, written-off status or other relevant conditions.

If significant information was not disclosed and the vehicle materially differs from the description provided, we may reassess the quote before completing the purchase.

7. Vehicle Collection and Pickup

Where vehicle collection is offered, pickup arrangements are subject to the vehicle location, accessibility, condition, towing requirements and scheduling availability.

You must ensure that the vehicle is reasonably accessible for collection and that we have permission to enter the relevant property or collection area.

If the vehicle cannot be safely or reasonably accessed, alternative arrangements may need to be discussed.

8. Collection Times

Any pickup time or estimated arrival time is subject to traffic, weather, vehicle availability, towing requirements and other operational circumstances.

We will take reasonable steps to communicate changes where a scheduled collection is significantly delayed or needs to be rearranged.

9. Payment

The agreed payment method and amount will be confirmed as part of the vehicle transaction.

Payment may be subject to completion of any required ownership checks, paperwork, vehicle verification and other reasonable transaction requirements.

You should ensure that any payment details you provide are accurate.

10. Paperwork and Vehicle Transfer

The parties may need to complete documents relating to vehicle ownership, sale, disposal, collection or registration.

You agree to provide reasonable assistance and information required to complete the transaction.

Registration, transfer and disposal obligations can depend on the circumstances of the vehicle and applicable Victorian requirements.

11. Personal Belongings

You are responsible for removing personal belongings, documents, valuables and other property from the vehicle before collection.

You should also remove toll tags, personal plates or other items that you do not intend to transfer with the vehicle.

12. Cancellation or Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a vehicle collection, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

WreckPay may also need to cancel or reschedule a collection due to safety issues, incorrect vehicle information, access restrictions, transport issues, weather or other operational circumstances.

13. Website Information

We take reasonable care when publishing information on the WreckPay website, but website content is provided for general information and may change from time to time.

Vehicle values and purchase amounts depend on the individual vehicle and should not be assumed from general website content unless a specific offer has been provided for your vehicle.

14. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, security measures, technical faults or circumstances outside our control.

15. Acceptable Website Use
